GOM Mix Max is the name of a new video editing software developed by GOM & Company that is due to launch on November 30th. With its launch right around the corner, many are excited about the wealth of features teased by the developers lately. GOM Mix Max is made with the intention of bringing premium-level video editing software to the market for a fraction of similar software’s price.
I’m lucky enough to have the opportunity to test the software early. Soon I’ll be receiving a copy of GOM Mix Max to test for myself in order to review it and give everyone a sneak-peek of what GOM plans to bring to the table.
Who are GOM & Company?
The reason why GOM has my (and I believe many others’) interest in this new software is mainly due to their prior reputation. GOM & Company has been in the game for quite some time now. Their developers have 23 years of software experience at this point and are known around the world for their previous applications, such as GOM Player, GOM Cam, and the predecessor to video editor GOM Mix Pro, GOM Mix Max.
They tend to take a very balanced approach with their software, trying to find the sweet spot between a wealth of features to experiment with, while still giving a user experience that’s very easy to get comfortable with. All of their programs are designed with the intention of bringing their function to the average user. A user who doesn’t want to have to read a dense hand manual just to figure out how to edit a video or MP3.
What’s New With GOM Mix Max?
GOM has taken its philosophy and turned it up to 11 for GOM Mix Max. While all of their prior programs had accessible interfaces to maneuver, GOM promises a stylish UI that will go toe-to-toe with some of the most recognizable high-quality editing software out there for GOM Mix Max. You can customize the locations of your menus, set custom hotkeys, and search for effects, and save overlays to your favorites. There will also be an in-program tutorial guide to get your feet on the ground if you don’t feel like exploring.
The editing features are highly customizable, and the limits of GOM Mix Pro are done away with for GOM Mix Max. There are also some completely new features as well, such as the Chromakey effect and a neat addition that allows you to see the audio track in a video when you insert the video clip into an audio track.
GOM Mix Max is also completely optimized compared to its predecessor. Encoding time is drastically reduced, file size is minuscule in comparison, and your effects and resources library is rich with options to mess around with.
Why is the Launch Special?
GOM & Company is hitting the ground running with special launch offers and discounts. We mentioned that the software plans to bring high quality at a bargain price, but it gets even better with the launch sale.

Until then, we’ll all have to wait and see what GOM can deliver on the bold promises of this fascinating, innovative new video editing tool.
