Thermaltake has just announced its new Divider 550 TG Ultra chassis. Its particularity, as you may have guessed, is to be the first to include a 3.9-inch LCD screenon the front. An appendix that could prove formidable for all users who want to have a permanent eye on the information of their system (hardware load, temperatures, ventilation…)
For the moment we don’t have too many details to share but the format of this chassis seems classic and very close to the current Divider 500 TG. The notable difference (in addition to the LCS) is a significant presence of tempered glass panels on almost all sides of the case. We will notice the presence of 3 fans on the front and an I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0 + 1x USB-C ports.
Here is a maximum of images on this case that we really can’t wait to test as well as the official press release of the brand.
“Thermaltake, the leading brand of high-end DIY PC cases, cooling, gaming peripherals and memory solutions for enthusiasts, is pleased to announce its Divider 550 TG Ultra, the first Thermaltake chassis with an LCD display that allows users to monitor PC data in real time and display GIFs or custom images, at the Virtual Thermaltake EXPO in January 2022. The first LCD-enabled case in the Thermaltake collection, the Divider 550 TG Ultra is an ATX chassis with a 3.9″ LCD on top of the front panel, offering a new way to monitor your PC performance and display your personality at the same time. Focusing on both function and appearance, the Divider 550 TG Ultra offers a crystal clear view through a tempered glass side panel on the left side that allows users to fully view and admire all the components of its construction; on the right side, it retains the unique features of the Divider series by incorporating a special symmetrical triangular panel design and offers better heat extraction through the small holes in the side panel. The Divider 550 TG Ultra is compatible with the latest PC components and maximum hardware support, offering more flexibility in component placement. Users can choose to position their GPU vertically or horizontally without the need for additional parts, and choose to mount heat sinks in multiple locations. In addition, there are three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans, which can sync with Asus Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASRock Polychrome. It is also recommended to combine with Thermaltake cooling products such as Floe RC Ultra 240/360 liquid cooling for memory and processor, or TOUGHLIQUID Ultra 240/360 liquid for processor, this way custom GIFs can fly through LCDs for even more impressive display.
