This Witcher 3 PS1 Demake Turns an Iconic Scene Into Hilarious Comedy Sketch

Ah, the bathtub scene: ever a favorite for diehard fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it tweaks the nostalgia strings even more reimagined in a low-poly PS1 aesthetic — as if it were a flashback from my youth instead of what feels like just the other week when I was playing it in 2015!

That’s thanks to Anders Lundbjörk (spotted by Eurogamer), a Swedish game developer who works on mobile games with Dreamon Studios and makes hilarious demakes in his spare time.

Indeed, not only does his The Witcher 3 bathtub scene look awesome but it’s rather witty, too. As you’ll see, there’s an amusing twist on the scene that perhaps reveals two important truths about Lundbjörk: one, that he loves Gwent; two, where he falls on the whole Yen or Triss debate.

And if you like demakes then Lundbjörk has some other absolute gems you really need to check out; namely, one for Cyberpunk 2077 that reimagines CD Projekt Red’s latest action-RPG with a PS1 aesthetic, bugs and all.

In other The Witcher 3 news, CDPR is teaming up with a board gaming publisher to release a new adventure game called The Old World, which is coming to Kickstarter soon.
