Toughfan 12: Thermaltake offers a carbon copy of the NF-A12x25!

Thermaltake proposes to us a new fan which is at least… familiar. Indeed, the brand offers us a ToughFan 12 High Static Pressure which is as comfortable for case cooling as it is for watercooling.

Toughfan 12: like an air of NF-A12x25!

Thermaltake Toughfan 12 High Static Pressure

On the program, Thermaltake offers us a 120 mm fan for a thickness of 25 mm. The mill has a sober design with its black and grey colouring. However, the first thing that shocks us is the general aspect of the fan since we have here a carbon copy of the NF-A12x25 from Noctua!

Indeed, the Thermaltake fan offers a total of nine elongated blades with an imposing central hub. The curvature of the blades and the hub are very similar to what the Austrian company offers for its high-end fans. In the end, only the shape of the frame and the number of blades change.

In terms of characteristics, we have here a fan powered by a PWM signal operating from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM. At full speed, the air flow will be 58.35 CFM for a static pressure of 2.41 mmH2O. Of course, with the L.N.C. adapter, we will be able to reduce the maximum speed of the mill to 1500 RPM by sacrificing on performance.

Thermaltake Toughfan 12 High Static Pressure

On the price side, Thermaltake displays its Toughfan 12 High Static Pressure at around 22.32€. Clearly, the mill will be more affordable than its direct competitor which is around 40€ at LDLC. But what about performance? Now we’re wondering.

Here is the technical data sheet from Thermaltake!
