Windows 10 19H1 (Redstone 6) Builds Changelog

UPDATED on Nov 14, 2018: Addition of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18282.

Microsoft has released Windows 10 October 2018 Update (Version 1809) to public and now the company has started focusing on the next Windows 10 feature update which is codenamed as 19H1 at the moment. It’ll be released to public next year, most probably in March or April.

In this article, we’ll list all changes, improvements and new features found in newer 19H1 builds. It’ll help you in understanding what changes and new features will become a part of the upcoming version of Windows 10 operating system.

Windows 10 Build 10.0.18204 Changelog:

Build 18204 was the 1st Insider Preview build of Windows 10 released after RS5 build. It was released on July 25, 2018. This new build arrived via new “19H1” development branch.

Build 18237 was the 5th Insider Preview build of Windows 10 released after RS5 build. It was released on September 12, 2018. This new build arrived via new “19H1” development branch.

• Now you can configure advanced Ethernet IP settings using Settings app
• New icon for disconnected Internet in Taskbar notification area
• Addition of microphone icon in the system tray which appears when your microphone is in use
• Pressing F4 in Registry Editor will now place the caret at the end of the address bar, expanding the autocomplete drop-down
• The corresponding Ethernet adapter name will now be listed in the sidebar under the “Ethernet” header so you can easily differentiate Ethernet entries at a glace if there’s more than one

Windows 10 Build 10.0.18262 Changelog:

Build 18262 was the 9th Insider Preview build of Windows 10 released after RS5 build. It was released on October 17, 2018. This new build arrived via new “19H1” development branch.

• Now users can enable a new column “DPI Awareness” in “Details” tab of Task Manager to know which running apps are DPI aware.
• Some more preinstalled apps can now be uninstalled via the context menu on the Start Menu All Apps list. These apps are 3D Viewer (previously called Mixed Reality Viewer), Calculator, Calendar, Groove Music, Mail, Movies & TV, Paint 3D, Snip & Sketch, Sticky Notes and Voice Recorder.
• New recommended troubleshooting setting under Settings -> Update & Security -> Troubleshoot page. This feature uses diagnostic data you send to deliver a tailored set of fixes matching problems Windows detects on your device and will automatically apply them to your PC.
• Improvements to Narrator
• When adding a new language in Settings, Windows now offers separate options for installing the language pack and setting the language as the Windows display language. Windows also shows separate options for installing the Speech recognition and Text-to-speech features, when these features are available for the language.
• Printers & Scanners page has been updated in Settings to now include a link straight to the troubleshooter in case you need it.

Build 18267 was the 10th Insider Preview build of Windows 10 released after RS5 build. It was released on October 24, 2018. This new build arrived via new “19H1” development branch.

• Redesigned “Accounts -> Sign-in Options” page in Settings app
• If you right-click on a group name or tile folder in Start, you will now have an option to unpin it
• Ctrl+Mouse Wheel Scroll to zoom in text is now supported in Command Prompt, PowerShell and WSL
• When using dark theme (Settings -> Personalization -> Colors), the scrollbars in Command Prompt, PowerShell and WSL will now become dark too
