Xbox is hosting a Free Play Days For All event this weekend

If you don’t have an Xbox Live Gold membership, you’re in luck this weekend. Xbox has announced that it’s hosting a Free Play Days For All event, meaning those without Gold can still jump into their favorite multiplayer games and play for free (via Major Nelson).

The event will run from Thursday, February 15 at 00:01 a.m. PST to Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Xbox occasionally holds events like this so this won’t be your only opportunity to game with your friends for free, but definitely take advantage of the offer while it lasts.

As an added bonus, Rainbow Six Siege and NBA 2K18 will be unlocked for a limited time, giving Xbox Live members free access to play them. This offer also lasts through February 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

Though it wasn’t part of the Free Play Days For All event announcement, Overwatch is free to play this weekend on Xbox One as well. According to Blizzard you need an active Xbox Live Gold member to participate in its free weekend, though Xbox’s Free Play Days For All event may have changed that. Overwatch is free to play from February 16-19.
